June 2008 - new premiums for the year 2008/2009

HCI informs us, that they have raised their premiums by 5% , effective as per 1st June 2008. This increase appears extremely moderate, as the estimated global increase in healthcare cost is generally confirmed to amount to 13% approximately for this period.

Such applies for the majority of the (newer) policies managed by SwissInsurance, underwritten by Sagicor. The premiums of the older policies, underwritten by Allianz Global, have risen by about 9% (please consult your policy with this).
